Technical committeeTypeAcronymISO 17559CommitteePublished year2003Description
ISO 17599:2003 specifies methods for determining the steady-state performance characteristics and dynamic performance characteristics of positive-displacement electrically and electronically controlled hydraulic pumps, so as to allow comparison of the performance of different components.
Pumps covered by ISO 17599:2003 have the capacity to affect changes in the output flow or pressure in proportion to the electrical or electronic input signals. These pumps can be of the load-sensing control type, servo-control type, or electrical variable displacement mechanism type, which control output flow and output pressure by feedback using electrical signals.

This document specifies electric safety requirements for conductive connection of electrically propelled road vehicles to external electric circuits. External electric circuits include external electric power supplies and external electric loads. This document provides requirements for the charging modes 2, 3, 4, as defined in IEC 61851-1, and reverse power transfer. For mode 4, this document provides requirements regarding the connection to an isolated DC EV charging station according to IEC 61851-23. NOTE 1 This edition does not provide requirements for mode 1. NOTE 2 External electric circuits are not part of the vehicle. This document applies to the on-board sections of vehicle power supply circuits. It applies also to dedicated power supply control functions used for the connection of the vehicle to an external electric circuit. It does not provide comprehensive safety information for manufacturing, maintenance and repair personnel. NOTE 3 ISO 6469-3 provides general electrical safety requirements for electrically propelled road vehicles. NOTE 4 With this edition of this document the limitation of y-capacitance for protection against electric shock under single failure conditions is no longer applicable as a fault protection provision when the vehicle has a conductive DC connection to an external electric circuit.

This document defines the design, safety and operation characteristics of gaseous hydrogen land vehicle (GHLV) refuelling connectors. GHLV refuelling connectors consist of the following components, as applicable: receptacle and protective cap (mounted on vehicle); nozzle; communication hardware. This document is applicable to refuelling connectors which have nominal working pressures or hydrogen service levels up to 70 MPa. This document is not applicable to refuelling connectors dispensing blends of hydrogen with natural gas.

ISO 16908:2014 specifies a test procedure to thermally condition a hydraulic filter element and simulate cold start, such as that which can be encountered in mobile machinery applications. It is intended to provide a procedure that yields reproducible results and can be used prior to other filter element performance tests, such as those specified in ISO 11170.

Technical committeeTypeAcronymISO 16889CommitteePublished year2008Description
ISO 16889:2008 describes a multi-pass filtration performance test with continuous contaminant injection for hydraulic fluid power filter elements; a procedure for determining the contaminant capacity, particulate removal and differential pressure characteristics; a test currently applicable to hydraulic fluid power filter elements that exhibit an average filtration ratio greater than or equal to 75 for particle sizes less than or equal to 25 µm(c), and a final reservoir gravimetric level of less than 200 mg/L; and a test using ISO medium test dust contaminant and a test fluid.
ISO 16889:2008 is intended to provide a test procedure that yields reproducible test data for appraising the filtration performance of a hydraulic fluid power filter element without influence of electrostatic charge.
ISO 16889:2008 applies to three test conditions: test condition 1, conducted with a base upstream gravimetric level of 3 mg/L; test condition 2, conducted with a base upstream gravimetric level of 10 mg/L; and test condition 3, conducted with a base upstream gravimetric level of 15 mg/L.

ISO 16874:2004 provides identification coding for manifolds used in hydraulic systems and for component installation features (for example, mounting surfaces or cavities) of such manifolds. It specifies identification codes to be marked on manifold blocks and correlated with product and service documentation such as circuit diagrams, bills of material and assembly drawings, for the purpose of facilitating assembly, installation, use and service of systems in which the manifolds are applied. The codes define a unique identifier traceable to associated documentation for each mounting surface or cavity. The installed component may be marked or tagged with the same identifier when such marking is necessary for clarity in assembly or service.
