The Joint Programme Initiative "Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe" (JPI Climate), together with the MAGICA project, supported by the European Commission, is organizing this edition of ECCA. 19 June 202319 June 2023Add to Calendar 2023-06-19 13:00:00 2023-06-19 20:00:00 Strengthening research collaboration opportunities Fostering EU Clean Energy transition - Final event of the PANTERA Project PAN European Technology Energy Research Approach (PANTERA) is an EU H2020 project aimed at setting up a European forum composed of R&I stakeholders active in the fields of smart grids, storage and local energy systems, including policy makers, industrial stakeholders, standardisation bodies and experts in both research and academia, representing the EU energy system. The long- term objective of PANTERA is to strengthen EU clean energy R&I activities with special focus on the countries that appear to be less involved. To reach these goals, PANTERA launched an interactive multi-functional collaborative platform: EIRIE, which stands for European Interconnection for Research Innovation & Entrepreneurship. EIRIE’s vision is to become a reference operational point to unify European activity, incentivize further investments in smart grids, storage and local energy systems, support access to exploitable results that can spark further cooperation and bridge the existing gaps. As we have experienced over the last 4.5 years, alignment and collaborative work are essential to create the pan-European modus operandi envisioned within PANTERA. The feedback and continuing support of relevant national and international stakeholders, EU platforms and initiatives, national and international projects, will enable EIRIE to fulfil its goals. 28 February 202328 February 2023Add to Calendar 2023-02-28 09:00:00 2023-02-28 17:00:00 16th ETIP SNET Regional Workshop The overall purpose of this event is to learn more about national and regional research, development and innovation (RDI) and how and if they are aligned to the RDI activities on the EU level and, specifically, to the ones identified in the ETIP SNET Implementation Plan 2022-2025 and that will be the base of the High Levell Use Cases in the updated ETIP SNET Roadmap, expected by mid-February 2023. To that end, the ETIP SNET invited the representatives of national and regional funding and support programmes from Western Europe (Spain, France, Portugal, Ireland and the UK) that will meet and discuss together with the EC, national funding authorities and ministries about RDI priorities and next funding programmes. The Workshop will provide a unique opportunity to learn about R&I projects around Europe and contribute to the identification of R&I gaps, challenges and priorities. Are you Interested in joining? Are you a representative of a university, technology centre, energy utility, distribution or transmission system operator, technology or service provider, funding authority, national or regional ministry, regulator, national or regional technology platform? Are you active in the field of Smart Grids and integrated Smart Energy Systems & Markets? Storage and conversion among energy carriers?
