    Description

IEC 62746-10-1(E) specifies a minimal data model and services for demand response (DR), pricing, and distributed energy resource (DER) communications. This document can be leveraged to manage customer energy resources, including load, generation, and storage, via signals provided by grid and/or market operators. These resources can be identified and managed as individual resources with specific capabilities, or as virtual resources with an aggregated set of capabilities. It specifies how to implement a two-way signaling system to facilitate information exchange between electricity service providers, aggregators, and end users. The DR signalling system is described in terms of servers (virtual top nodes or VTNs), which publish information to automated clients (virtual end nodes, or VENs), which in turn subscribe to the information.
The services make no assumption of specific DR electric load control strategies that can be used within a DR resource or of any market-specific contractual or business agreements between electricity service providers and their customers.

    Description

IEC 62722-2-1:2014 specifies the performance requirements for LED luminaires, together with the test methods and conditions, required to show compliance with this standard. It applies to LED luminaires for general lighting purposes. This first edition of IEC 62722-2-1 cancels and replaces IEC PAS 62722-2-1. published in 2011. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the Publicly Available Specification.
    a) The testing time is aligned with IEC 62717 and the option of 2 000 h is removed. Products containing modules not in compliance with IEC 62717 are now tested to 6 000 h.
    b) Testing sample sizes have been modified to give valid statistical data.
    c) The temperature reduction of 10 °C for street lanterns and floodlights has been removed.
    d) Life definitions have been updated and aligned with IEC 62717.

This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to IEC PAS 62722-1.
    a) The inclusion of more precise requirements for the comparison of the photometric distribution shape, with the comparison method given in Annex D.
    b) Further regional standards added to the schedule given in Annex A.

    Description

IEC 62718:2013 specifies the performance and constructional requirements, and associated tests, for d.c. supplied electronic ballasts used to supply fluorescent lamps for lighting on railway rolling stock. Its requirements replace those of IEC 61347 for all railway rolling stock applications and specify and complete those of IEC 61347 for the specific needs of railway rolling stock applications. The contents of the corrigendum of February 2016 have been included in this copy.

    Description

IEC 62717:2014+A1:2015+A2:2019 specifies the performance requirements for LED modules, together with the test methods and conditions, required to show compliance with this standard. This first edition cancels and replaces IEC PAS 62717 published in 2011. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to IEC PAS 62717:
    - all terms and definitions are aligned with IEC 62504 and relevant documents of CIE. For example, general terms like "rated value" are shifted to IEC 62504.
    - a statement on the applicability on a population is included.
    - the normative references are completed and cleaned from standards that are not in use.
    - with regard to EMC, references to harmonic currents are given.
    - the change, which has an effect on most parts of the standard, is the split of failure mechanisms into abrupt failures and luminous flux depreciation. Consequently, new terms and definitions, new requirements for lumen maintenance and a complete new structure and contents of Annex C are introduced.
    - transition from tpmax to tprated is made, with the background that there is not one tpmax, but a choice of tp(rated) values, in combination with lifetime.
    - places where to mark (product, packaging, data sheets) are changed, and as a consequence of the split of failure mechanisms, new parameters are listed. Further, changes in the endurance test (ramping speed of temperature) are reflected in marking.
    - the concept of displacement factor instead of power factor is introduced. This led to new definitions, requirements and Annexes E and F.
    - the requirements on luminous efficacy are changed.
    - the requirements, associated with the family concept are reviewed.
    - statistics, based on confidence intervals are removed. This concerns requirements and limits for LED module power and luminous flux and deletion of Annex E.
    - new requirements for lumen maintenance are introduced.
    - as part of the endurance test, the maximum light decrease after accelerated operation life test is now fixed.
    - with regard to the discussion on type test and sample size, the number of pieces in a test sample is drastically reduced, see Table 7.
    - Annex A on measuring methods is completely restructured and reviewed, for example for ambient temperature and for shortening of stabilisation time when conducting subsequent light output measurements.
    - for electrical characteristics, the ageing time may be chosen as 500 h.
    - for photometric data file formats, reference is given to IEC 62722-1.
    - mistakes in the photometric code (Annex D) are corrected.
    - Annex G on optimised test duration is removed; instead, an INF sheet shall be published.
    - from the luminaire standard, a new Annex H on "Test equipment for temperature measurement" is taken over.
    - finally, the Bibliography is updated.
This consolidated version consists of the first edition (2017), its amendment 1 (2015) and its amendment 2 (2019). Therefore, no need to order amendment in addition to this publication.

    Description

IEC 62716:2013 describes test sequences useful to determine the resistance of PV modules to ammonia (NH3). All tests included in the sequences, except the bypass diode functionality test, are fully described in IEC 61215, IEC 61646 and IEC 61730-2. They are combined in this standard to provide means to evaluate possible faults caused in PV modules when operating under wet atmospheres having high concentration of dissolved ammonia (NH3). The contents of the corrigendum of May 2014 have been included in this copy.

    Description

IEC 62705:2014 applies to radiation monitoring system (RMS) installed in the nuclear power plants (NPPs). This standard gives requirements for the lifecycle management of RMSs and gives guidance on the application of existing IEC standards covering the design and qualification of systems and equipment. This standard may be applicable to other nuclear facilities (e.g. nuclear fuel storage and processing sites) by evaluating the differences from NPPs.

    Description

IEC 62688:2017 describes the fundamental construction and testing requirements for Concentrator Photovoltaic (CPV) modules and assemblies in order to provide safe electrical and mechanical operation during their expected lifetime. Specific topics are provided to assess the prevention of electrical shock, fire hazards, and personal injury due to mechanical and environmental stresses. This document attempts to define the basic requirements for various application classes of concentrator photovoltaic modules and assemblies, but does not encompass all national and regional codes. This document is designed so that its test sequence can coordinate with those of IEC 62108, so that a single set of samples may be used to perform both the safety and performance evaluation of a CPV module and assembly.

    Description

IEC 62671:2013 addresses certain devices that contain embedded software or electronically-configured digital circuits that have not been produced to other IEC Standards which apply to systems and equipment important to safety in nuclear power plants, but which are candidates for use in nuclear power plants. It provides requirements for the selection and evaluation of such devices where they have dedicated, limited, and specific functionality and limited configurability.
