BESOS

Project full name:
Building Energy decision Support systems fOr Smart cities
BESOS proposes the development of an advanced, integrated, management system which enables energy efficiency in smart cities from a holistic perspective. To that end, the Energy Management Systems deployed in a typical district that are consuming or producing energy, and which nowadays normally count with an isolated IT management solution, will be able to share data and services through and open trustworthy platform among themselves and to external third party applications. This enables the design and development of higher level applications –i.e.

ELECTRA

Project full name:
European Liaison on Electricity Committed Towards long-term Research Activities for Smart Grids.
The ELECTRA Integrated Research Programme on Smart Grids (ELECTRA) brings together the partners of the EERA Joint Programme on Smart Grids (JP SG) to reinforce and accelerate Europe’s medium to long term research cooperation in this area and to drive a closer integration of the research programmes of the participating organisations and of the related national programmes. ELECTRA’s joint research activity and collaborative support actions build on an established track record of collaboration and engagement.

Grasp

Project full name:
GReen procurement And Smart city suPport in the energy sector
GRASP is a Med Programme Poject’s and its aim is to increase the potential of MED Smart cities in organizing and developing Smart and Green e-Procurement processes with a focus on renewable energy sources and energy efficient solutions.

PV-NET

Project full name:
Promotion of PV energy through net metering optimization
The project, “Promotion of PV energy through net metering optimization” (PV?NET), is aimed at developing better energy policy for the promotion of renewable energies in the Mediterranean countries, targeting the best and most cost efficient use of PV technology. The focus is on the optimization of smart energy management systems in order to create alternative economic and sustainable measures through harmonization and reassessment of existing support schemes including government subsidies and grants.

EnVision 2020

Project full name:
EnVision 2020
Reducing pollution, improving energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources are the central priority in the EU agenda.

ENER - SUPPLY

Project full name:
Energy Efficiency and renewables - Supporting Policies in Local level for energy
The use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and the implementation of Energy Efficiency (EE) measures in South-East Europe represent important chances to cleverly rethink the energy management.Public local administrations can play a leading role to reduce the impact on the environment and to improve the financial management within the energy field.

M2RES

Project full name:
From Marginal to renewable energy sources sites
M2RES aims at recovering marginal areas as for example landfills, mines, former military sites/supply-storages and contaminated areas, through investments in renewable energy sources. The project is co-financed by the EU on the framework of South East Europe Programme 2007-2013. The project is co-financed by the EU on the framework of South East Europe Programme 2007-2013.

RE-SEEties

Project full name:
RE-SEEties
The goal is to help municipalities develop integrated waste-and-energy solutions, in order to create resource efficient urban communities.

Mobility 2.0

Project full name:
Mobility 2.1
Mobility2.0 will develop and test an in-vehicle commuting assistant for FEV(Full-Electric Vehicle) mobility, resulting in more reliable and energy-efficient electro-mobility. In order to achieve a maximum impact, Mobility2.0 takes an integrated approach of addressing the main bottlenecks of urban FEV mobility: ‘range anxiety’ related to the limited FEV range, scarcity of parking spaces with public recharging spots, and the congestion of urban roads.

BEAMS

Project full name:
Buildings Energy Advanced Management System
BEAMS strategic goal is the development of an advanced, integrated management system which enables energy efficiency in buildings and special infrastructures from a holistic perspective (i.e. considering the indoors areas, the public spaces around the facility and the interaction of the overall compound with the grid and urban network outside it).The project will include an open interoperability gateway allowing the management of diverse, heterogeneous sources and loads, some of them typically present nowadays in spaces of public use (e.g.
