Brief description and/or other information regarding the project: 
The main objective of the Smart Grid pilot project in the Hel Peninsula is to check its basic elements and to develop an implementation concept for similar projects across ENERGA-OPERATOR SA. It has been assumed that the scope of the project should include medium and low voltage grids. Subject to checking – by way of practical implementation – are project elements such as: ? central part - IT system integrated with SCADA at the Regional Power Dispatch level, ? telecommunication infrastructure, ? automation, control, and measuring equipment in MV and LV grids, ? installation in LV grid of distributed generation such as photovoltaic cells, wind turbines, as well as heat pumps, smart street lighting, and electric vehicle charging stations.
