Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The OiDG project provides decision support for distribution system planning to increase the amount of DG that can be connected to a network by looking at technical solutions (and system planning) as well as regulatory and economic issues. The project proposes a new planning methodology that can be applied to different local distribution systems (and at different times). The OiDG proposes architectures for the future MV/LV grid with flexible bi-directional and controlled power flows, which requires an appropriate interface design, being a main driver of scalability (numerical simulations).
