JRC Smart grid project maps

This mapping exercise carried out by the JRC in 2011 represents the first comprehensive inventory of Smart Grid projects in Europe.
It brings together inputs and feedback from utilities, industry, research and academia. Our thanks go particularly to all the stakeholders of the Smart Grid Task Force, the European Electricity Grid Initiative and the Florence Regulatory Forum for Electricity who contributed to this mapping effort.

We are continuing to collect new projects and monitor the progress of projects in the catalogue.
