Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The main purpose of the project is to build active network concepts based on new technological solutions and to test these solutions in actual power networks. In the frame of the project a number of demonstration projects in the field of active networks will be carried out. These demonstrations will include systems for increasing power system energy efficiency. implementations of virtual power plant. upgrade of the distribution remote control centre and automatic demand response of domestic consumers.
