The main objective of 'Devide' is to create value by using cost-effective solutions and increased productivity for your customers, grid operators and suppliers.This will be achieved through the development, demonstration and verification. Secondary objectives that will lead to the main goal: Develop reference architecture and use case descriptions as a framework for smart grids. Develop and test methods for the introduction of AMS and instrumentation in substations provide opportunities to improve network operations. Develop and test methods for decision support for the planning, maintenance and renewal of existing infrastructure in light of smart grids solutions Develop methods for risk assessment in conjunction with information for AMS. Develop and test methods for the creation and exploitation of demand response. Establish a database for the publication of results from the project.The secondary objectives will be supported by demonstration of Smart Energy Whales and Demo Steinkjer - thereby making the results more certain to take in the full-scale use.
