Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The goal for CHPCOM is, in cooperation with Danish CHP owners, power market stakeholders, plant suppliers and grid utilities, to develop a standardized data communication platform, by using the international standards IEC 61850 for data information exchange and IEC 62351 for data and communication security. A key goal of the CHPCOM project is also to developed new business cases, reduce business uncertainty and reduce the transaction cost for all stakeholders. This practical demonstration will bring Danish CHPs to the next step towards the future Smart Grid.
