Prevailing Stage of Development:
Demonstration
Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The aim of the project is the demonstration of microgrid's feasibility and capability of storage to help for RES integration at distribution level. The facility integrates different generation systems (RES & Conventional), diverse energy storages and loads (real & programmable) and the plant can be used as ESS test bench by manufacturers. The energy management software CeMOS® has been developed to simulate, control and operate the plant and the whole system is part of the methodology to design and develop microgrids proposed by CENER. Any microgrid configuration and control strategy can be designed, simulated and validated in the ATENEA Microgrid.
