PV-NET

Project full name:
Promotion of PV energy through net metering optimization
The project, “Promotion of PV energy through net metering optimization” (PV?NET), is aimed at developing better energy policy for the promotion of renewable energies in the Mediterranean countries, targeting the best and most cost efficient use of PV technology. The focus is on the optimization of smart energy management systems in order to create alternative economic and sustainable measures through harmonization and reassessment of existing support schemes including government subsidies and grants.

OptimaGrid

Project full name:
OptimaGrid
The project aims to define, design, develop and implement intelligent control systems of energy that facilitate the management real-time of a microgrid of electric energy applied to an industrial area with high penetration rate of renewable energy, in order to change the concept 'pollutant' associated to industrial areas, by different another: 'ecological industrial areas capable of developing its own technology'.

smartCEM

Project full name:
smartCEM: Smart Connected Electro Mobility
Four European cities/regions (Barcelona, Gipuzkoa-San Sebastian, Newcastle and Reggio Emilia) have come together to demonstrate the role of ICT solutions for cities and citizens in addressing shortcomings of electro mobility. Electric power solutions have proven to offer a potentially ground-breaking solution for more energy-efficient and less petrol-dependent vehicles and transport systems. The consortium aims to integrate regional initiatives which have been established all over Europe.

ICT 4 EVEU

Project full name:
ICT 4 EVEU – ICT services for Electric Vehicle Enhancing the User Experience
ICT 4 EVEU is a project born with the aim of deploying an innovative set of ICT services for electric vehicles (EV) in different and complementary pilots across Europe. The scope of the ICT services is the integration of different management systems operating on the existing EV infrastructures in the cities where the pilots will be run, so that related services are deployed making use of these interconnected infrastructures.

e-Highway2050

Project full name:
Modular Development Plan of the Pan-European Transmission System 2050
The e-Highway2050 project is supported by the EU Seventh Framework Programme and is aimed at developing a methodology to support the planning of the Pan-European Transmission Network, focusing on 2020 to 2050, to ensure the reliable delivery of renewable electricity and pan-European market integration. The project will result in a modular development plan for possible electricity high- ways and options for a complete pan-European grid architecture, based on various future power system scenarios.

MOBINCITY

Project full name:
MOBINCITY – Smart Mobility in Smart City
MOBINCITY aims at the optimization of FEV (Full-Electric Vehicle) autonomy range and the increase in energy efficiency thanks to the development of a complete ICT-based integrated system able to interact between driver, vehicle and transport and energy infrastructures, taking advantage of the information provided from these sources in order to optimize both energy charging and discharging processes (trip planning and routing).Main specific objectives are: To develop a system to be installed within the vehicle able to receive information from the surrounding environment, which can have influenc

MOLECULES

Project full name:
MObility based on eLEctric Connected vehicles in Urban and interurban smart, cLean EnvironmentS.
MOLECULES is a demonstration project with three large scale pilots in Barcelona, Berlin and Grand Paris aiming to use ICT services to help achieve a consistent, integrated uptake of Smart Connected Electromobility (SCE) in the overall framework of an integrated, environmentally friendly, sustainable mobility system.

Mobility 2.0

Project full name:
Mobility 2.1
Mobility2.0 will develop and test an in-vehicle commuting assistant for FEV(Full-Electric Vehicle) mobility, resulting in more reliable and energy-efficient electro-mobility. In order to achieve a maximum impact, Mobility2.0 takes an integrated approach of addressing the main bottlenecks of urban FEV mobility: ‘range anxiety’ related to the limited FEV range, scarcity of parking spaces with public recharging spots, and the congestion of urban roads.

RENEWIT

Project full name:
Advanced concepts and tools for renewable energy supply of IT Data Centres
A set of challenging energy concepts will be developed in the framework of the project under an holistic approach integrating the following technical solutions: management of the IT load following 'green' objectives, low-energy air-conditioning systems, solar cooling, interaction with district heating and cooling networks, re-use of heat, optimal use of heat and cold storage, and integration in smart grids.

STARGRID

Project full name:
STandard Analysis supporting smart eneRgy GRID development
The STARGRID project aims to obtain a comprehensive picture of Smart Grid standardisation procedures and to critically assess the large and complex standardisation landscape on Smart Grids at international level, including the industry new developments and initiatives in this field.
