ENER - SUPPLY

Project full name:
Energy Efficiency and renewables - Supporting Policies in Local level for energy
The use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and the implementation of Energy Efficiency (EE) measures in South-East Europe represent important chances to cleverly rethink the energy management.Public local administrations can play a leading role to reduce the impact on the environment and to improve the financial management within the energy field.

RE-SEEties

Project full name:
RE-SEEties
The goal is to help municipalities develop integrated waste-and-energy solutions, in order to create resource efficient urban communities.

VIBRATe

Project full name:
e-mobility region Vienna – Bratislava
The aim of the VIBRATe project is to create a network of fast-charging stations for electric cars. The high priority of the project is to install 16 private charging points and 4 fast charging stations on the highway . Also approximately 10 charging spots at public and semi-public locations (i.e. shopping centers and supermarkets) are planned as a low priority.

e-DASH

Project full name:
Electricity Demand and Supply Harmonization for Evs
The e-DASH project aims at the harmonization of electricity demand in Smart Grids for sustainable integration of electric vehicles. This is addressed by an intelligent charging system supported with real-time exchange of charge related data between EVs and the grid. Adopting the e-DASH approach allows high current fast-charging for large numbers of EVs in a brand-independent way and price-adaptive charging/reverse-charging at optimum price for the customer leading to increased desirability of EVs. In order to prevent damages of costly EV batteries, sophisticated charge control is inevitable.

PowerUp

Project full name:
Specification, Implementation, Testing, and Standardisation of Vehicle-2-Grid Interface
PowerUp aims to develop the Vehicle-2-Grid (V2G) interface, involving a full development cycle of physical/link-layer specification, charging control protocol design, prototyping, conformance testing, field trials, and standardisation. Its results will ensure that EVs smoothly integrate into emerging smart-grid networks. Thereby the efficiencies resulting from robust grid operation may be achieved; V2G capabilities will smoothen the daily fluctuation of electricity demand and will enable EVs to act as emergency energy supplies.

E2SG

Project full name:
Energy to Smart Grid (E2SG)
E2SG aims at developing and demonstrating key enabling technologies in the following fields1) node-grid interfaces – especially between generating nodes and the grid2) grid-sensing/metering – to collect the information needed for management and control3) over-the-grid communication – to effectively carry sensing and control information where it is needed grid-topology and control – to understand and design connection-induced behaviours improving reliability and to control (local) energy production/distribution by exploiting advanced storage policies and energy routing – to develop flexible and

INERTIA

Project full name:
Integrating Active, Flexible and Responsive Tertiary Prosumers into a Smart Distribution Grid
INERTIA addresses challenge :“Data management infrastructures to allow electricity production and consumption to be measured, reported and controlled (and eventually credited or billed)” and aims to deliver an efficient Distribution Grid overlay control/management infrastructure that will maximize the response capacity of the vast small commercial prosumer base (tertiary buildings, offices etc), presenting incentives and delivering benefits through their automated active participation in the energy market.
