C-DAX

Project full name:
Cyber-secure Data and Control Cloud for Power Grids\
The progressive penetration of conventional and renewable distributed generation is driving major changes in the whole power systems infrastructure justifying the introduction of more intelligence, in particular, in power distribution networks. The information infrastructure will play a central role as future power systems cannot be supported by centralized information infrastructures on which today's power systems rely.

EnergyTIC

Project full name:
EnergyTIC: Technology, Information and Communication services for engaging social housing residents in energy and water efficiency
EnergyTIC is a demonstration project that will put into practice innovative ICT solutions available in different countries (France, Spain and later on a third cluster) with a common goal: providing the end-users with an easy to understand / intuitive solution allowing him to monitor and adapt its energy and water consumption Technical solution: Comprehensive convergent ICT solutions will be implemented in 1700 dwellings (1000 in France, 700 in Spain) to collect real time information from water and energy companies and adapt it into valuable and appealing information delivered to the user by me

E3SoHo

Project full name:
ICT services for Energy Efficiency in European Social Housing
E3SoHo proposed service offers a holistic solution for ICT-enabled energy efficient social housing developments all across Europe.

Odysseus

Project full name:
Open Dynamic System for Holistic energy Management of the dynamics of energy supply, demand and storage in urban areas
The aim of the Odysseus project is to develop an Open Dynamic System (ODYS) enabling the ‘holistic energy management’ of the dynamics of energy supply, demand and storage in urban areas, on top of an open integration platform supporting the pilot scenario’s for designated urban areas exemplified in the cities of Rome and Manchester. While in Manchester project results will be validated on a simulated energy efficiency environment, in Rome it is in the early stages of dealing with energy efficiency in public building.

FINSENY

Project full name:
Future Internet for Smart Energy
The energy supply will need to evolve into a dynamic system to provide the smart energy infrastructure needed to support society in 2020 and beyond. Future Internet technologies will play a critical role in the development of Smart Energy infrastructures, enabling new functionality while reducing costs. In the FINSENY project, key actors from the ICT and energy sectors will team-up to identify the ICT requirements of Smart Energy Systems. This will lead to the definition of new solutions and standards, verified in a large scale pan-European Smart Energy trial.

IGREENGrid

Project full name:
IGREENGrid IntegratinG Renewables in the EuropEaN electricity Grid
In the iGREENGrid project, six world-class DRES integration Demo Projects in low and medium voltage grids led by some of the most relevant EEGI members DSOs are being developed in European Union. Based on sharing the outputs of these experiences and evaluating their results using KPIs according to technical and economic criteria (regarding EEGI guidelines), a set of recommendations identifying most promising solutions for an appropriate integration of small and medium size variable renewable resources in distribution grids (both in medium and low-voltage networks) will be produced.

eSESH

Project full name:
Saving Energy in Social Housing with ICT
As part of the ICT PSP programme of the European Commission Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, the eSESH project aimed to design, develop and pilot new solutions to enable sustained reductions in energy consumption across European social housing.

MSG

Project full name:
Micro Smart Grid
Build infrastructure for Vehicle to Grid enabled charging points. To integrate electromobility. To test inner city RE production. To integrate, test and use different storage devices for electric energy, so we can maximize the usage of self produced RE and to charge cars 100% emission free with locally generated RE.

TBH Alliance

Project full name:
Tableau de Bord de l'Habitat
The heart of the project is based on the monitoring of electricity consumption of a panel4 000 households, which must:• assess the potential savings of the various devicesdisplay;• determine the most easy to use features andmore efficient in terms of energy savings;• prepare, upstream of the working groups of the ATEE (AssociationTechnical Energy Environment), proposed transaction records standard energy savings for most systems efficient.

IssyGrid

Project full name:
France’s first smart grid eco-district
IssyGrid, the first district smart grid in France, aims to design and prototype an urban microgrid for a business district in Issy-les- Moulineaux city, with the goal of enabling energy optimization at the neighbourhood level. The project is developed around three main step : 1) to measure all types of consumption (business buildings, residential building, public equipment, commercial establishments), 2) to develop renewable energy sources and storage solution, 3) to manage locally the grid and the balance between local consumption and local generation.
