GARPUR

Project full name:
Generally Accepted Reliability Principle with Uncertainty modelling and through probabilistic Risk assessment
The GARPUR project designs, develops, assesses and evaluates such new reliability criteria to be progressively implemented over the next decades at a pan-European level, while maximising social welfare

e-Highway2050

Project full name:
Modular Development Plan of the Pan-European Transmission System 2050
The e-Highway2050 project is supported by the EU Seventh Framework Programme and is aimed at developing a methodology to support the planning of the Pan-European Transmission Network, focusing on 2020 to 2050, to ensure the reliable delivery of renewable electricity and pan-European market integration. The project will result in a modular development plan for possible electricity high- ways and options for a complete pan-European grid architecture, based on various future power system scenarios.

MOLECULES

Project full name:
MObility based on eLEctric Connected vehicles in Urban and interurban smart, cLean EnvironmentS.
MOLECULES is a demonstration project with three large scale pilots in Barcelona, Berlin and Grand Paris aiming to use ICT services to help achieve a consistent, integrated uptake of Smart Connected Electromobility (SCE) in the overall framework of an integrated, environmentally friendly, sustainable mobility system.

EVOLVDSO

Project full name:
Development of methodologies and tools for new and evolving DSO roles for efficient DRES integration in distribution networks
With the growing relevance of distributed renewable energy sources (DRES) in the generation mix and the increasingly pro-active demand for electricity, power systems and their mode of operation need to evolve.evolvDSO will define future roles of distribution system operators (DSOs) on the basis of scenarios which will be driven by different DRES penetration levels, various degrees of technological progress, and differing customer acceptance patterns. The evolvDSO consortium addresses the main research and technology gaps that need to be solved for DSOs to efficiently fulfil their emerging and f

E+

Project full name:
New systems, technologies and operation models based on ICTs for the management of energy positive and proactive neighbourhoods
E+ aims to develop, implement and demonstrate a new energy management operation and business model based on ICTs, able to increase the energy efficiency at neighbourhood level, while achieving near zero emissions neighbourhoods. The new control system (E+) will be prepared to manage and control energy sources, stationary storage devices, street lighting, electric vehicles charging infrastructure, buildings loads, etc. Both, electrical and thermal (including geothermal) energy sources and consumption are considered in E+.

RESILIENT

Project full name:
coupling Renewable, Storage and ICTs, for Low carbon Intelligent Energy maNagemenT at district level
The RESILIENT project aims to design, develop, install and assess the energy and environmental benefits of a new integrated concept of interconnectivity between buildings, DER, grids and other networks at a district level. The RESILIENT approach will combine different innovative technologies including smart ICT components, optimized energy generation and storage technologies, also for RES, integrated to provide real time accounts of energy demand and supply at a district level and assist in decision-making process.

ENDORSE

Project full name:
ENergy DOwnstReam Services - Providing energy components for GMES
The project ENDORSE aims at a user-driven development of downstream services in renewable energies by exploiting the GMES Core Services (MACC, SAFER and Geoland 2) together with other EO/in-situ data and modelling. It addresses regional services promoting the energy use from sun, wind, and biomass, electricity grid management and building engineering through day lighting in buildings.

E2SG

Project full name:
Energy to Smart Grid (E2SG)
E2SG aims at developing and demonstrating key enabling technologies in the following fields1) node-grid interfaces – especially between generating nodes and the grid2) grid-sensing/metering – to collect the information needed for management and control3) over-the-grid communication – to effectively carry sensing and control information where it is needed grid-topology and control – to understand and design connection-induced behaviours improving reliability and to control (local) energy production/distribution by exploiting advanced storage policies and energy routing – to develop flexible and

Smart Power

Project full name:
Smart Grids from Power Producers to Consumers
The objectives of the project are to develop innovative methods for efficient design and operation of a smart grid and to coordinate applications of innovative smart grids.

ECO-LIFE

Project full name:
ECO-LIFE
The objective of ECO-Life project is to establish a replicable planning & implementation approach and to demonstrate innovative and integrated energy concepts in supply and demand side in municipalities in LT, BE and DK to reach the goal of zero CO2. The local ECO-life projects are integrated in large climate action initiatives in the municipalities. The project will use 100 % RES. Concerning RUE, LT is representing huge refurbishment potential in East Europe, BE focuses on social housing and DK represents the next level of energy efficiency.
