Smart Electricity de Minalogic

Start and end dates:
January, 2006 to December, 2010
Prevailing Stage of Development:
Demonstration
Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
Smart Electricity aimed at developing, testing and improving a smart electric board solution in 7 average French households. The project last 4 years with 2 years of actual experimentation. The smart electric board features sensors, actuators and embedded chips that can be accessed remotely. With the development of an energy management software solution, this system enabled users to have real-?time access to their consumption datas and to remotely control their personal devices. Resulted substantial domestic energy savings. The project was divided into five different working packages. Four of them aimed at designing new key technology bricks. As a proof of concept, the SmartHome package used all of these bricks for the development of a SmartHome solution. Working packages: • SmartHome • Integrated current sensors • Mechatronic interface • Software integration • Wireless control (RF communication)
