Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
SDG is a prototype of a solution of Smart Grid Demand-Response: it aims to experimentm the interaction between network and home users or small business through a system for the 'Negotiated management' between distributor and residential customers that involves smart appliances governed by an EMS - Energy Management System - capable to control load profiles, storage systems, distributed generation (photovoltaic), substations MV/LV. Use a network of hybrid communication (PLC broadband Wi-Fi, FO) to connect the transformers with EMS, downstream, and the Center remote control to upstream (DMS). The project will cover a few hundred members of a district of Brescia.
