Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
One of the most promising investigated grid structures will be demonstrated in a typical rural MV grid, which has to cope a massive implementation of RES. Several technologies like electronical sub-stations, automatical tap changer.,the usage of the flexibility of an biogas plant etc. will be tested and demonstrated. Three components are tested in the course of the model project: newly developed voltage regulators for protecting against voltage fluctuations, recording and communicating real-time production and consumption data, and using a biogas storage to compensate for peaks in supply and demand.
