RIDER

RIDER aims to develop an innovative information system to optimize energy efficiency at the level of a building or buildings complex. The system will provide needed functions for an intermediary optimization, between existing devices in the building and devices managed by the distribution service operator. This system will allow energy exchanges, including conventional energy, renewable energy and fatal energy (heat generated by industrial process). The project is organised through several modules families: 1) information and communication technologies allowing capture, transmission and real-­?time processing, 2) energy modules (electrical and thermal) to recover and to orient energies to the right place, at the right time, 3) infrastructure equipment in which to perform energy exchanges, 4) Studies on human behaviour.
