Mirubee proposes an electricity metering system whose peculiarity lies in the possibility to capture the electricity data on the individual consumption of each single device connected to the grid and then transmit it to the cloud for further elaboration.The solution proposed by Mirubee is completely open to be connected or integrated with other metering systems.The innovation which Mirubee’s projects provides is the possibility of identifying the consumption each single individual device (refrigerator, washer, hair-dryer, etc.) through their “digital signature”.Data acquired by the system is then transmitted in a cloud and processed in order to trace the exact consumption information for different electrical appliances.Generally speaking, neither consumers nor the suppliers know how much energy each specific device consumes. Global employment of this platform can change forever the relations between consumer and supplier and let them both gain the reciprocal advantages.A pilot project for the system set up is currently being tested in a neighbourhood with 12 houses connected.
