Prevailing Stage of Development:
Demonstration
Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The research project MILLENER (Thousand facilities for energy management in the islands) aims to reduce the electricity consumption of customers and to better integrate intermittent renewables into distribution networks in order to ensure real-time the balance between electricity demand and production. It takes into account the specificities of a non-isolated network interconnected, such as islands, and the need to educate users to control their consumption. These experiments will consist of facilities photovoltaic panels, energy storage systems and control of electrical consumers. The goal of energy saving for the test phase is estimated at 500 MWh / year. The experiments take place in Corsica, Guadeloupe and Réunion from 1000 clients
