Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The research project is aimed at developing concepts and exemplary applications for the integration of electric mobility in private traffic as well as in urban commercial traffic. The integrated traffic concept is to be tested and demonstrated in fleet tests with a significant number of vehicles. In this context, supraregional interconnection of traffic and energy systems, innovative accounting and fleet management systems, and decentralized energy and charging management using stationary storage systems for the improved integration of renewable energy sources and the stabilization of distribution grids will play a central role.EnBW AG leads the consortium, other project partners are Adam Opel AG, ads-tec GmbH, Daimler AG, the Fraunhofer institutes ISI and ISE, KIT, PTV Group, SAP AG, and TWT GmbH. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology as part of the Information and Communication Technologies for Electric Mobility II program.
