Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The objective of this proposal is to prove the concept of a novel Active Network Management (ANM) approach as applied to a rural 11kV network area which contains several embedded generators (typically small hydro, with some wind). The intention is to develop an operational generation constraint scheme capable of facilitating the connection and management of additional Distributed Generation (DG) onto the SPEN network.
