Brief description and/or other information regarding the project:
The goal is to obtain “Harmony” between renewable energy sources, the power system and the loads in order to keep stability in all aspects seen from a harmonic point of view which is an urgent need due to the fast growth of power electronic based generators and loads. The more specific objectives are:• Develop theory, models and methods to identify harmonic problems in power electronic based power systems• Create a theoretical base and a hardware platform to investigate control methods enabling the mitigation of harmonics ensuring the future power electronics based power system is stable• Develop on-line methods to monitor the harmonic “state” of the power system and mitigate the harmonic problems
